bảo.thiên.ngô works as a software developer for Productfy, a Silicon Valley fintech startup. He volunteers as a board member of the Viet-American Youth Association (VietAYA) based in San Jose.

His career history includes leading UI engineering for 4 prior startup companies in Silicon Valley from Seed to Series C in the fintech, medtech, and insurtech spaces, including one backed by Sequoia Capital, and another backed by DFJ. His current venture, Productfy—started together by Duy Vo and bảo—has been accepted into the Yodlee Incubator as well as 500 Startups.

Within the not-for-profit space, bảo volunteered as board secretary & co-founder of the CayDa Foundation dedicated to community organizing. He co-founded the company Vietlicious, an online Vietnamese American apparel store. He served as the secretary of the Berryessa Business Association, a local business association in San Jose. He was formerly the co-executive director of the Children Moon Festival of Northern California. He was a founding member of UVSA Northern California, a coalition of Vietnamese Student Associations, and after years of serving in a jack-of-all-trades fashion, finished his service as its Arts Commissioner (2008–2010). He served as Webmaster-Historian (2002–2003) of UCLA Vietnamese Student Union. He was the co-editor of indie films Things I’ll Never Say (2005) and co-producer of La Petite Salon (2009).

bảo enjoys studying leadership theory, organizational studies, and, unsurprisingly, Vietnamese culture and history.
